Details About Service
How much do sessions cost?
Currently, I only take self pay clients, which means that I do not accept insurance. The cost per session is $160. Please contact me if price is a concern, and we can discuss how to make therapy affordable for you.
If you would like to use insurance or see me in person, please contact New Town Counseling Center.
What does this process look like?
We will begin with a diagnostic intake interview to get a sense of what your current challenges are with your mental health; this will give us an opportunity to discuss your expectations from counseling, and what working with me will look like. We will build a treatment plan together that addresses your goals, and figure out which counseling modalities (such as CBT, DBT, or mindfulness) may be most appropriate. This process will guide our work, and consistent collaboration between counselor and client will allow us to adjust as needs arise.
I always aim for my clients to feel successful and independent upon conclusion of the counseling process. Your feedback and partnership throughout this process is vital for the success of counseling.
How do I pay?
You can pay through the SimplePractice portal, which is linked above. This is also the portal where you will receive and sign all of your documents. If you are having difficulty accessing any of your documents, or connecting to the telehealth platform, please email me directly at isaiah@newdaycts.com
If you cannot afford my self-pay rate, please email me, and we can discuss how to best accommodate the financial concern while making sure you are getting the help you need.
How will we meet?
We will meet online through Google Meet. It is a HIPAA compliant service, and our scheduling and meetings will take place through Google’s Workspace. When you schedule an appointment, you will receive an email with the link to the Google Meet; you DO NOT need a Google account in order to access these sessions. Your documents and forms will be completed and stored on the SimplePractice Portal, which is linked above.
How do I know you are the right person for me?
It’s important to me that you get what you are looking for from counseling; if you feel like there is something being missed, or that you are not getting the benefit you need from counseling, please discuss it with me, and we can figure out what needs to change.
